Hillside Residence Hall is located on the east border of the UCLA Campus, directly across the street from the beautiful Mathias Botanical Garden. Our two buildings house an international community, with a maximum occupancy of around 70 students. Living at Hillside Residence Hall means you will not only have the opportunity to explore the greater Los Angeles area, but also to explore the cultural diversity that an international dormitory has to offer. The social aspects of the residence hall don't mean that your studies will go by the wayside. Campus and Extension classrooms are within a few minutes walking distance from our buildings and Hillside Residence Hall provides quiet study areas for residents. For those of our guests who are eager to explore the city, bus stops are located within 350ft (100mt) of our location, making the rest of Los Angeles easily accessible. Renting a room at Hillside Residence Hall puts you a short distance from Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Malibu, and all the wonderful attractions they have to offer. On sunny days, residents will be happy to know that getting to the beach takes under 30 minutes. You'll be working on your tan in no time! When you want to stay at home, there are plenty of things to do as well. Here at Hillside Residence Hall, we provide you with full access to common dining and living areas, cable televisions, billiard and ping-pong tables, wireless internet, board games, and a basketball court. There are also several outdoor patios where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful Los Angeles weather. Single, double, triple, and quadruple occupancy rooms are available year round. Our rooms are fully furnished and we provide bedding, utilities, Wi-Fi internet connection and 19 meals per week which are prepared in house by our own chef, with snacks available between meals. Bathrooms are shared, and coin operated laundry facilities are located within both buildings. We are looking forward for you to stay with us, and welcome you to become part of the community!
