ABOUT ST GILES STUDIOS DURHAM

A new stylish and contemporary student accommodation. A traditional college feel with a little bit of edge. A great place to live, study and meet new friends.

Opening for September 2016, St Giles Studios is located (See Map) in the historic area of Gilesgate, a popular location with students of Durham University due to its close proximity to shops, Durham city centre and the University colleges (Nine min. walk to St Hild & St Bede, 25 min. walk to Stockton Road – buses are also an option).

This boutique student accommodation has 109 studios, with different sizes available to suit all budgets and needs. Studios are stylishly decorated and provide a double bed, excellent storage, a kitchen and an en-suite bathroom - plus a space to study.

The social space at St Giles Studios includes a Club Room and Workspace to either relax or chill with friends, or to work alone or in groups. The Club Room is a comfy, social area with sofas, armchairs and a big screen TV with a snug area that leads to the workspace - a work area with sharing tables, informal sofas and chairs for group discussion. The Workspace also includes a private meeting room, which can be used as a dining room, including a kitchen and TV – the perfect place for socialising with friends. Doors lead from the Workspace onto a terrace, with tables and chairs to enjoy the warmer days in Durham.
